Main Hirer Details

NOTE:
  • Additional drivers must be between 22 – 65 years old, with at least 2 years of driving experience
  • Additional drivers: Allowed to be used for personal/private hire usage
  • All Main Hirers are allowed to add up to 2 additional drivers at an additional $10/per week per driver
  • All applications are processed by the next working day
  • Only Singaporeans / PR applicants allowed

EXTEND CONTRACT

- Submit your request for extension 2 weeks in advance for higher approval rates.
- A WhatsApp confirmation will be sent to you in 3 working days, if your extension application is approved.
- Rental Discount may be offered to hirers on extension. Please check with our AutoRent Team for more information.

Step by step guide (Online Banking):

- Log in to your online banking app
- Click on transfer funds
- Key in One Time Password (OTP)
- Select “Singapore”
- Select “Accounts Number”

If it is your first time transferring, you will need to “Add Payee”:
- Select “Add Payee”
- Enter the following accounts details:

- Add and submit new payee
- Follow the steps and key in the 6-digit code to authorize the transaction

If you have already added us as payee or have done the above, please proceed to the following steps:
- Select the account you want to transfer from (Your account)
- Select the account you want to transfer to (CarTimes Auto-Rent)
- Select “Money will be deposited via FAST immediately”
- Select “Transfer Now”
- Select “Other” under Purpose
- Key in your car plate number under “Payment Description”
- Key in Rental Amount to transfer
- Slide green button to Submit

- Key in the rental amount to transfer
- Confirm

- Key in your car plate number under “Description”
- Key in rental amount and slide green button to submit
- Take a screenshot of the payment details

Step by step guide (via PayNow QR Code):

- Log in to your banking app
- Under PayNow function, select Scan QR Code
- Scan the Code
- Key in rental amount
- Key in your vehicle number under “Transaction Reference/Description”
- Select Pay
- Take a screenshot of the payment details

RETURN VEHICLE

NOTE:
  • A notice period of 14 days is requried
  • All outstanding rental or monies due has to be cleared upon returning of vehide
  • Ensure that the vehicle petrol has been refilled to its original level as when you have collected
  • Ensure that all damages hav been duly repaired before returning

What to do in an event of an accident?

  • Don’t move the vehicles

    Avoid moving the vehicles involved in the accident prior to gathering the facts (including photographing the scene & damages)

  • Call the rental company for advice

    In the event of an accident, be it major or minor, call us at 9180 3571 immediately.

  • Check for injury

    Check if there are any injuries among all parties. Should anyone require medical attention, call the ambulance and police immediately.

  • Gather the facts

    If no one is seriously injured, exchange the following information with all parties involved (Including any witnesses, if any):

    - Name
    - NRIC/Passport Number
    - Contact details
    - Address
    - Insurer
    - Vehicle license plate number

    Also, take pictures of the following:

    - Accident scene
    - Damages to the vehicles involved

  • Bring your damaged vehicle to our workshop and report the accident

    If we are claiming for the damages, you must report the accident at our workshop within 24 hours or by the next working day.

  • How do I make own damage claims?

    - For own damages claims, we will proceed to do an “Own Damage” claim for you as the repair costs will be high. For such cases, you will be liable for the “Own Damage” excess of up to S$2,000 (exclusive of 7% GST)

    - In the event of a third party claim by the other party, you will need to bear the insurance excess of S$1,500 (exclusive of 7% GST)

  • How do I make a third party claim?

    - Proceed to our in-house workshop at Sin Ming Autocity with all the necessary facts, documents (including photographing the scene & damages) and information of all parties involved (including any witnesses). At any point of time if you are unclear, please do call us at 9180 3571 immediately.

  • What should I do if I met an accident in Malaysia?

    1. Refer to point 1 – 4 on previous tab and follow the same procedures.
    2. Take clear photographs of the following documents of all vehicles involved and ensure vehicle number stated in the documents are correct:
    - Identification card
    - Driving license (Front and back)
    - Certificate of Insurance
    - Road Tax
    3. Proceed to file a police report at the nearest Malaysia Police Station.
    4. Call for a tow-truck to tow your car back to Singapore Immigration. Please note that you are liable for the towing charges from Malaysia to Singapore Immigration and any Malaysia Levy surcharge payable will be borne by you.

  • Can I repair accident damages privately on my own if the damages are minor?

    For Minor Damages
    Kindly contact us at 9180 3571 immediately to advice for quotation on the repair costs. Do note that repair can only be done at our preferred workshop. For the cost of repair, you will need to settle with the designated workshop directly and downtime will not be pro-rated.

APPEALS

EARLY TERMINATION

1) We reserve the right to reject/approve all appeals on a case by case basis ONLY.
2) If you are appealing, you must submit sufficient documentary proof to support your explanation.
3) All submitted documentary proof will be evaluated against evidence gathered for the appeal.

LATE FEE WAIVER

1) Majority of appeals are rejected. Submit an appeal only if you are sure that there was an error administered.
2) More than 9 out of 10 drivers settle their payment promptly.
3) If you are appealing, you must submit sufficient documentary proof to support your explanation.
4) All submitted documentary proof will be evaluated against evidence gathered for the appeal.
